Alvani Tunes introduces a solo debut and sophomore album by
industry renowned flamenco guitarist James Bobchak – Flamenco Fusion/Santa Fe Sunrise
and Sundance Flamenco. Bobchak is a native of Santa Fe, New Mexico who started fine
tuning his craft at the age of 13 when he began taking classical guitar lessons from Pat
Carralli, who was a student of the great Andres Segovia. He attributes his style of
music to his influences in rock, jazz, flamenco and classical guitar, including Carlos
Montoya, Yngwie Malmsteen, Paco de Lucia, Carlos Santana and Gregg Allman.
His credits as an accomplished musician include building a recording studio in Santa Fe
highlighting his songwriting, engineering and production abilities. This was followed by
work on the Kevin Costner film The Postman, and a North American tour with Ottman
Liebert as a member of Luna Negra.
James signed a distribution agreement with MAMP Songs to release the albums "Santa Fe
Sunrise" and "Sundance Flamenco".
